Great if it also allows you to navigate menu if need be I.e. Up, down, select
Maybe it could become quite clever using force touch
Just see the use case where I’m sitting in front of my TV and want to quickly tap my watch to pause something because the door bell rings etc
i think this should be more than just remote (although mostly remote), such as
• gestures, such a wrist-flicking,
• music selection based on pulse (either match (slow music for slow pulse) or counter (fast music for slow pulse)
• kill your battery with video streaming (now possible in watchos 2).
This would be extremely awesome feature
Yes!!! Even if it would only contain basic playback features, this would add a lot of value to the iOS app. 
It would be fantastic to be able to control Plex from the Apple Watch during a workout - it’s basically impossible to control it from iOS when I’ve got my phone strapped to my arm.
Wanted to chime in and add that it would be great for Plex Pass members to be able to sync music to the Watch to listen to while exercising.
Despite ability of the device to view/stream - the idea of extending to accoutrements specifically for control by watches or other smaller devices would be beneficial. I don’t know that I’d ever watch/view via such a device (not enough real-estate to enjoy it), but the idea of play, pause, rewind, fast-forward, step-forward, step-back is highly interesting.
New member here. As a Plex pass member I want to be able to listen to my Plex music through my Apple Watch while I’m running without my phone - this is a winning feature for me and stated in other comment above. Being able to sync music (album/artist/playlist or whatever subset a user chooses), by pushing it from another Plex server access point (iPhone or Laptop etc. which have bigger UIs to easily search and select music) to the Apple Watch does not sound too difficult to implement. Please let me know if this is already possible in case I have missed it. I had previously moved my all music listening needs over to Plex, but since getting an Apple Watch I’ve now had to use iTunes and iPhone music app again - bad times!
I’m desperate to ditch the iOS 10 Music app because it is egregiously terrible. I would love to replace it by using the Plex app, exclusively. An Apple Watch app that can control playback, select playlists, albums and songs, control airplay, turn on/off shuffle and repeat would be ideal. Also the ability to have a “glance”/complication on the watch face to show the current song would be ideal as well.
Basically a similar feature set to the iOS Music app, except not terrible.
I like to use the iphone as a remote for PLEX on my TV. It would be great if I could use the apple watch as a remote for it because I don’t have my iphone any time near by. 
As a person that just bought apple watch for some strange reason I’m suddenly extremely interested in this feature.
My Wishlist for the further iOS Plex App with Apple Watch Support:
- Sync music to the Apple Watch
- Play synced music
- Play streamed music
- Remote for other players
I hope it´s possible to implent it to the iOS App.
