I have my family and some friends on my plex server. It would be nice if we could set a custom nickname, has some have email address it would nice to set their name so i know who is who.
This is a great request and I was about to suggest the same. As the Admin for my Plex Server, I hate that I have to either have my full user name displayed (or my email address) while selecting a user. If someone is reading these posts for suggestions, please add Nickname setting to My Home managed users (and the Admin).
I want this feature as well. If you have a number of friends, please allow a nickname/alias for that account so it’s easier for us to tell who it is.
