When you begin a children’s movie trailers for horror films should not be selected.
Plex should check the audience rating of the film that is being played and pair trailers of the same rating.
I have my server set to play 3 cinema trailers
I began playing Disney’s Moana,
the server selected these three trailers:
Happy Death Day
Madea
GeoStorm
None were appropriate for prior to a disney cartoon.

Please post the Plex XML info of this item.
Because, the age rating is already taken into consideration. But if Plex doesn’t know what you are playing, then it cannot filter the trailers according to the age rating.
the file in question is rated ca/PG, it was scraped by IMDB using the plex media scanner
If the “ca” in the rating stands for Canada, then I suspect it’s because Plex doesn’t really deal with ratings very well unless they are American. Because of that, Plex has decided it’s an unknown rating, or “Un-rated” so all trailers are considered appropriate.
