Are custom inputmaps still supported?

Server Version#: 1.17.0.1709-982421575 (latest from https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/tags) being run on UNRAID
Player Version#: 1.3.1.916 (Windows)

I’ve been trying to set up a Minix remote by following this guide but haven’t had any success: https://support.plex.tv/articles/216459997-create-your-own-inputmap/. I don’t see an inputmaps folder anywhere on either the server or client and when I press buttons on the remote I don’t see any output in any of the logs even though some of the buttons work, like play/pause, fast forward, among others. Are custom input maps for remotes still supported or is that something that died along with the Plex Media Player (which I understand was rolled into the basic Plex application)?

In PMP, remote controls and input maps were concerns of the TV layout and there aren’t plans to bring that to Desktop. The Desktop layout isn’t intended to be navigated with a remote control.

Thanks FordGuy61. That makes sense, I had no idea it was still a separate application, odd that there didn’t seem to be a mention of it on the downloads page.
