I know this is an old problem and I ran into it months ago.
I manually corrected hundreds of albums and everything was OK until occasionally some artist tags were randomly replaced with other names.
This week, I got a new PC and copied all my music to a new internal hard drive. When I created and populated the music library, the same files that wer OK on the other PC came up with bad data in the artist fields.
Has anyone found a fix for this?
It’s been months now.
