As a Samsung TV owner, I'm jealous

I just found out some models support a USB3 10/100/1000 NIC. My 5G wifi doesn’t even support management frames.

Nab a high end streaming device and hard wire it. Then you’ll never have to worry about what your TV can and cannot do.

What device supports 10/100/1000? I demand to be able to play the https://jell.yfish.us/ 400Mb files

Apple TV 4K and NVIDIA Shield offer Gigabit Ethernet.

Good to know, however I’ve heard issues with the shield’s android builds.

Thanks.

Edit: FWIW the usb3 10/100/1000 NIC is like thirty bucks, so way cheaper then an Apple TV, or shield…

I believe you will lose the ability to share content from a mobile. Could be wrong but I do remember awhile go that was reported.

Is there a compatibility list somewhere? Would love for this to work on RokuTVs.

the problem with that though you need to have that particular tv model which can support usb3 gigabit adapter. if you already got that tv, thats 30 bucks for sure, but if not…would you rather buying a new tv which cost around 2-3k+ to get a gigabit speed VS just buying nvidia shield or apple tv to achieve the same thing with just a small fraction of price of a new tv?
