Our plexconnect actually works better than other projects, including the plex itself on some platforms.

I asked about this awhile ago. It’s a minor part I can live without. I would be nice but it’s not necessary. You need to remember unless it’s part of the iOS ecosystem it’s not easy to implement if it was possible.

Really, but after that breakthrough of "fanart" believe "Baa" "f00b4r" and others will be able to add the theme song, ai the plexconnect will be perfect!

Fanart been out for a bit. I have faith within reason.

Roidy has pointed out to me that when you trigger any sort of music playback you get the music transport screen with the timeline.... Not ideal when you just want the music to play without the screen changing and we do not know how, or if it is even possible to suppress this.

I just wanted to point out that when browsing the "Movies" application you can select a movie to watch then if you press "iTunes Extras" it loads a new menu with background music playing. I still have not been able to get my http proxy to work to be able to scrape what files it is loading and what the XML looks like to be able to play audio like that, but try it for yourself.

Go "Movies" > "Top Movies" > "Kingsmen" (or any other movie really) > "iTunes Extras"

It will play theme music behind the new menu that pulls up. Maybe this is what we need to be able to play theme music behind the TV Shows?

Thanks for posting that link! I tried to do some more digging to see what exactly the XML for that page looked like but I was unable to get my HTTP proxy to work. An off topic question, but what are you using to record your Apple TV?

Searching for 'audio' in the PDF shows quiet a few results all saying a similar thing. Thoughts anyone?

tried to build a preplay screen using this paper.. didn't manage to get the lower bar to show properly :( hopefully baa och rod have a better idea on how to do it ...

Any news on this? It would be awesome to have tv (pulled from PMS) & movie theme audio.
