Audio on Plex app for Roku is Out of Sync

Before I get started, here’s some information that might be pertinent to a solution:

I’m using a ROKU 3810X Streaming Stick+, and the software version is 11.5.0 • Build 4312-50. This is the most recent version available. I’m running the most current Plex Server Software. I’m using version 1.31.1.6733

My current Plex for Roku version is 7.0 • Build 24 (also the latest version)

My current Plex Video settings are:
• Local Quality 12Mbps 4K
• Remote Quality 4Mbps 720P
• Direct Play - Auto
• Allow Direct Stream is checked
• Burn Subtitles - Automatic
• Maximum H.264 Level = 4.1 (Recommended)
• Allow MPEG is checked (I’ve tried it unchecked with no change in results).

My current Advanced Settings are:
• Allow Insecure Connections - On same network
• Server Discovery (GDM) is checked
• Logging is disabled
• AAC Stutter workaround is unchecked (I’ve tried it checked with no change in results).

I checked the Plex Server Activity and can see that both the video and audio are via Direct Stream.

I am playing an MKV file 720p (H.264). The audio format is English (AAC). This file plays perfectly on VLC with no sync errors. When I play it on my Roku via the aforementioned Plex App, the audio lags behind the video. I have noticed that when I start playing the file, the video begins immediately without audio for a second or two. When the audio starts, it starts where the video began… leaving it 1-2 seconds behind the video. I’ve also noticed that the audio continues to play for 1-2 seconds after I hit pause or stop, but the video ends immediately.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? It’s very frustrating. Fortunately, I have the LG Plex app on the TV itself and it plays fine, so when I watch these shows I just change to the TV Plex app… but I don’t like it nearly as much as the Roku interface.
