Audio other than Dolby Digital

My Apple TV picked up the new app version that has the enhanced player as the default. I thought the new enhanced player supported direct-playing more audio than the old one. All my DTS 5.1 tracks are sill being transcoded to Dolby Digital for playback.

Is there something I should be doing, a setting that I need to change, to tell the new Plex client that my receiver knows DD and DTS?

Can you provide debug logs of an attempt to play such a file? I just tested here with both DTS 5.1 and DTS-HD MA 5.1 files, and both direct-played. I’m using an Apple TV 4K.

Also, is the video being transcoded as well for some reason?

I think it’s something in my setup.
I found a tvOS setting to force DD that some past version of me had enabled, now that’s off.
I also turn off home streaming @ to 720p since it mostly direct plays now with the enhanced player and CPU cycles are less of an issue.
It now direct plays most anything I give it, and shows that DTS 5.1 is being direct played from the server to the AppleTV (4), but, my old Sony STR-DG510 always says Dolby Digital on the LCD.
Thanks anyway, I’ll have to dig into my setup here.
