So I’ve been using this agent for a while, and I think it’s great. I do find that sometimes it still, even when I deselect the option, use embedded tags. Has anybody else had this issue?
Is there anyway to insert the AUDIBLE id, to select a certain one. I am trying to link to Star Trek: Generations (Adapted)
but the way it searches it never shows up.
Is it possible to write the Audible Metadata into the ID3 Tag?
First of all, i really appreciate the work that has been contributed to the community by making this plug-in available. As a blind person and user of audiobooks on a daily basis i’ve been searching for a solution to put together all my stuff in a single place and now it looks like i finally found a good soluiton.
However, having the Series information from Audible available on the book page would be a great benefit for me. I used to have it in the Album tag but this keeps the agent from matching properly. But losing the series information, especeally for larger collections with several parts would be a drawback for me.
Hope this could be added.
Can anyone else confirm that the plugin seems to have stopped working? I can still match entries manually, but no data is pulled into Plex from Audible.
An Easy way around this, is to make Playlists for Series. That way it keeps them together, and you can access them accordingly.
Also the Collection Tag can be used this way as well.
Another one I am running into that I just cant get to link is: https://www.audible.com/pd/Warriors-Audiobook/B004TAFWT6?qid=1557455662&sr=1-1&ref=a_search_c3_lProduct_1_1&pf_rd_p=e81b7c27-6880-467a-b5a7-13cef5d729fe&pf_rd_r=GQ0D6RXMX36N7PW5VYC1
Warriors is such a common word, it searches so many titles come up with the word, but not “Warriors” I think if a result had just the word you were searching for it should be higher ranked than if it was used in a title along with other words.
@XyberDAWG: Thanks, sonds lika a good work-around. However, it would include a bunch of manual tasks.
As long as Plex isn’t properly dealing with the playback position bookmarking on all platforms, i decided to look for alternatives. And although the few ones out there aren’t really great, they seem to work pretty well in at least bookmarking properly.
Can someone help me figure out where exactly I’m supposed to install this? I run plex on a QNAP NAS. I found the plug-in folder, but the rest of the meta data agents are in the format com.plexapps.agent.xxxx. Thanks!
I don’t quite understand the difference between this plugin and the other one, but both now don’t work for me.
This agent has been working beautifully, but recently stopped working.

When I try to refresh metadata or update match.
Plex 1.18.0.1846, which I’ve not updated recently so can only presume Audible have changed something?
