When adding audiobooks, I have selected every option for Plex to use local and embedded data only. I’ve included my own cover art embedded with each file. For most audiobooks, this works as I expect - when I show by ALBUM, I see a collection of cover art in the player.
But SOME audiobooks continue to show a photo of the author, not the cover. I don’t have pictures of the authors so Plex is pulling them from someplace online.
So…I’ve removed all audiobooks from the server and removed the library entirely from Plex.
Then I created a new audiobooks library and add the audiobooks back one at a time with the same results.
I’d really like some help with this. I’m just not detecting a pattern.
PS - Something worse is that some of the author photos are dead wrong. Charles Dickens did NOT look like a drummer from the '60s!
