I just would like to have ONE App and ONE Program to serve my content on!
Is this too much to ask @elan seriously?
I don’t have any streaming subscriptions for Movies, TV or Music since I started using Plex. I even use it for all my Podcasts (even dealing with the over-injected extra commercials you’ve been throwing in lately) and I use the PlexAmp when I just want to hear my Music.
YOU HAVE US ALL HERE BEGGING ( Comics - Audiobooks ) to let us add our other consumable media to the platform YOU told us was just that, for “STREAMING ALL YOUR PERSONAL MEDIA IN ONE PLACE”. I get it, revenue is needed, I understand that’s the reason for the Plex Gaming category even the Live Tv (with commercials) content.
Yet you drop Photo’s, you haphazardly let us “try” to use it for Audiobooks (without any real support from Plex) and you ignore us on Comic’s & EBooks. Why? Have you forgotten how this was supposed to be?
I’m not going anywhere, you still have the best system around (IMO) but others are catching up and believe me, we are all paying attention to who’s going to go the farthest to get us to choose them over someone else.
You’ve already gotten our money (most of us anyway) and a lot of us are Lifetime Pass owners. If you haven’t noticed some of us even say we’d be willing to throw a few $$ into the features we want (on top of our Lifetime Passes), so it doesn’t seem to be all about the money, or is that not enough?
