Auth Rate Limit

I am trying to develop a personal application that uses plex’s authentication.

I accidently (didn’t even think) used a while loop without a wait/sleep to check a Polling flow pin.

I have now gotten an “api rate limit exceeded” error.

How long does this usually take to reset?

Searched the forum for “api rate limit exceeded.” Found this thread:

You’ll need to wait 24 hours for it to unlock.

Plex.tv does not take kindly to anything which looks like a DDOS attack.

Turns out I waited like 30 mins and it let me try again.

This time with a safeguard.

glad it wasn’t 24 hours though.
