As you may know, many video files contain black bars, commonly referred to as letterboxing, which are baked into the video during production or encoding. In my case these bars prevent AppleTV Plex app to zoom in using double tap on the remote.
My request is simple yet impactful: I propose the implementation of an automatic black bar removal feature within Plex Media Server so client apps could zoom in easily.
I encourage you to consider this feature request and prioritize it based on its potential to enhance Plex experience.
