Auto Quality convert dosent work plex player 8.1.2

I was excited about the new update that supposed to fix video corruption beacuse I experienced corruption with auto quailty on but when i try to use the auto quailty feature on my android phone with the new update the video just doesnt start and loading without beginning, when I reverted to old player version it start but the video become corrupted when its start to convert to low bitrate. (in high bitrate the video is fine)

Did you sideload the app? You’re not running the variant I would expect for that phone. Not sure that’s the problem but could contribute. Uninstall and reinstall from the Appstore.

just to add i also tested it on an other galaxy s10 and its also not working

Ok, I’ll ignore that part for now.

Check your PMS settings. Do you have the option set to " Disable video stream transcoding"? If so, uncheck it.

its not check, I think its not problem with the pms as any player version older than 8.1.2.18135 works fine

Oh sorry. I needed the server log that corresponded with your app logs. You did provide a log earlier, but the time didn’t match up.

Can you recreate the issue and grab both logs (app and PMS) for me?
