What are the chances of the Plex team allowing the option to automatically skip the start and end credits?
Mine already does this. You merely need to turn it on. Under Settings > Library. Look for Generate intro video markers and Generate credits video markers. Mine are set to “as a scheduled task and when media is added”.
The OP asked for an option in their player to automatically skip the intro and end credits. This means that the instant the button appears in the UI to skip either of these, it is immediately pressed without user-input at all.

I am sure there is one for end-credit skip, but haven’t found it yet…
