In Plex Web, hit the Play icon when at the TV show preplay, or the Play icon when you hover over a poster for a show in the library view. That should play from whatever episode is now On Deck and continue through them.

Ok, I usually only use PHT and iOS, but I figured I would give this a try via PlexWeb. Using PlexWeb I just went to an episode in the middle of a season. (Episode 2 of Rick and Morty) and when the episode finished it took me back to the Episode 2 page. If I were to have this implemented the way I want (and I think to those who are interested in this feature here), Plex should always assume that if you hit play on a episode, the next episode should follow it automatically. It's not intuitive to press play on the whole season when you're already a few episodes in. Adding a few filters, or manually queuing the show doesn't make sense either. This feature is what I think really helped netflix out. It encouraged binge watching. I don't necessarily plan on watching the following episode, but maybe it ended in a cliff hanger and I now want to watch.
Is this current thread considered implemented? Should I add a new thread that covers these enhancements to Autoplaying the next episode?

I believe what I explained above should meet the steps you're suggesting. I haven't got it to work.
Ah, you need to not play from the episode, but from the season, show or library levels. Sorry - I should have been clearer. Any luck from those levels?
When will this come to Android TV? Feature is still missing…
I’d love a Netflix-style “PIP” screen with a prompt to play the next episode around when the credits of the current episode start playing. The prompt would give the user the option of playing the next episode immediately, but it also has a countdown that will automatically play the next episode after a certain amount of time (15-20 seconds).
