I recently had my Plex server turned off for two weeks as I moved. Since setting it back up a few days ago, the behavior of autoplay has changed to where it doesn’t stop and ask if you want to keep watching after several episodes, but keeps running for hours and hours. This is problematic because I use Plex to watch TV episodes when I go to sleep, and now instead of stopping after a few episodes, it runs all night long and is waking me up at early hours in the morning. It’s also using more bandwidth than it should.
I’ve looked through release notes but I haven’t seen any mention of autoplay being changed. I also can’t find anything in the settings that is different from the beginning of the month when it was working as expected. This has been working like this for years, and it mirrors the behavior of Netflix.
Has something changed? If it has, which version can I go back to to keep this functionality as it’s been for the last few years?
I’m running 1.24.1.4931 on Windows 10, using Plex Web.
