I’ve been searching the forums and the web in general looking for information about this. From what I can tell, the options/preferences for autoplay of TV episodes was removed a while back (Web Player).
This means that if I put on one single episode before bed, but fall asleep during it, Plex might play 20 more episodes for me. How is that reasonable to have in the first place, and how is it even remotely reasonable to not have an option to turn this off or limit number of autoplayed episodes?
The lack of options here causes problems for me. If Plex continues to play episodes, my auto-shutdown solution doesn’t work and so my computer remains on all night (while playing loud audio…). It also of course messes with your Watched tags on episodes, which really from the beginning is one of the main reasons why I use Plex or any media server solution.
Because of this I have discontinued my subscription to Plex Pass until this is fixed. If someone at Plex could give me any info on if and when it will be fixed that would be excellent.
