Availability of Free Live TV and Movies & TV on Plex in UAE

Hi,
I need your support as I am not able to access Plex live TV nor movies and shows on PLEX WEB or my Android device.

I am based in the UAE, till recently I was able to watch and browse the free content offered by PLEX as Live TV.

But this week, I noticed all the free content (live Tv and Movies&shows) are not available, and not able to browse any content.

I tried to access my Plex via VPN connection (My virtual location was the USA), I was able to see the content again and to watch any of them.

Can you help to fix this issue?
Appreciate your response.

Are the live channels available in my country?

Pretty much, yes! Over 80% of our channels are available worldwide, with a minority of channels licensed only in the United States. There’s lots of awesome content for everyone!

However, due to local regulations in a few countries, Live TV on Plex will not be available for users located in the following countries:

Are there geographic restrictions?

Some distributors have very specific requirements for where their content is allowed to be played, due to various licensing parameters they have in place with everyone they work with. Though some content in our catalog will only be playable in certain countries, much of it can be played worldwide. We’re continuing to work with new and existing partners to bring even more titles for users all over the world.

Thank you for your answer.

Can we expect Plex to overcome the geo-location restrictions?

If it’s due to local regulations… I don’t expect Plex to change those – so my guess is the answer will be “no”.

thank you.
