I see all the marketing, but is this actually live yet?
I have refreshed the web app a few times but am not seeing it.
I have signed out of the web app and back in, just in case.
It is not appearing in my online sources.

Same issue here
It is a staged rollout, about 50% of folks should have it now. everyone should have it in about an hour.
@BigWheel
Thank you very much for those informations.
Surprised the hell out of me when it showed up. Looking forward to testing this out when I get home.
not surprised, we get what we pay for.
that said, I am sure no doubt this is all pretty new for both sides (plex and industry) so baby steps.
Do you need the latest PMS for this or not?
I’m still waiting for the content showing up. I have no expectation for major block buster to appear there, but any free content is welcome as long it doesn’t interfere with private content.
No, it’s completely client-driven.
You don’t need a PMS at all. You should use the most recent web app at https://app.plex.tv
Ah, so this would explain why I was prompted to install a Widevine plugin when I logged in via web browser recently?
Yes. The content owners insisted on DRM.
It’s available here - but Audiolanguage is only English.
So not really interesting for most customers.
its finally working here, content is not that bad, terminator 1, road house and many other big name movies, along with lots of the late night/dvd direct stuff.
The prompt to install Widevine occurs when Widevine has been disabled by the user in Chrome or Firefox.
Glad you see some interesting content in there. We’ll be adding new content almost daily, coming from existing and new partners.
DRM is a contractual requirement with the studios and distributors. It applies only to this video-on-demand service and not your personal media library.
Interesting: can’t see Terminator or Road House on my client here in the UK (looked under Action, Sci-Fi and Drama). Different content for different regions?
It would be somewhat ironic if Plex, a product/service which, if we’re honest, is used by most people for pirated material, succumbs to one of the major reasons for people pirating in the first place: regional content restrictions
Yes, that is correct. The studios/distributors license content based on region and provide us with the regions we can allow playback in. Those two titles are US only at the moment.
As another one in the uk, the content for us, at least so far does seem a little uninspiring…
