I have 8TB drive on NAS so no chance of space running out as the backups on my NAS in (Plugins folder) are 33.760 bytes.
However, is it ok to delete previous backups ? Or how does Plex manage the backups If space ever becomes an issue? would it just start overwriting old ones?
Plex will backup the database every three days if configured to do so in Settings → Scheduled Tasks.
Plex keeps four backups. The oldest is deleted when a new backup is created.
If the drive does not have enough space, then the backup will fail.
