Within the last week or so, both of my Roku players have started doing something that I wish would stop. One Roku is a new (less than 3 months) Ultra and the other is an older Roku 3 but the Plex player version is the same on both.
I have close to 40,000 TV show episodes and I use Plex almost like I’m channel surfing to decide what to watch. I hit the shuffle button and Plex queues up 21 shows. I can scroll through that list and then hit the one I want to watch.
Prior to last week (or thereabouts), if you scrolled down to the end of the list of 21, you could hit the last entry, have that show come up and then bring the list up again and it would have been refreshed with 21 more episodes. Not so any longer. Once you’re at the end of the list, that’s it. You can hit the next episode button and get a new show but that’s not NEARLY as good.
Movies do the same thing. I tried Plex Media Player on my PC just now (it just updated to version 2.54) and it doesn’t do the same thing. You can get a newly refreshed list when you get to the bottom just like before.
Has anyone else noticed this change?
