BadStatusLine when using Plex Control API

Hi,

I am having an issue where Plex will not accept the API to play content on other players. I keep on getting a "BadStatusLine" error message. The URL I am using is:

http://192.168.1.105:32400/system/players/192.168.1.144/application/playMedia?key=/library/metadata/1944&path=/library/parts/2005/

And I am getting this XML as the response:

Researching BadStatusLine isn't very helpful either. Has anybody else run into this problem?

Anybody...? I'd really like to get this working. Is there a tutorial for any of this stuff? Plex control from the Plex web UI works fine, but not when I try it myself....
