Just Started about a hour ago. Plex status says everything is operational but my friends and I are seeing otherwise.

Same here. Server showing offline as of 2 hours ago for remote .
I just got a new TV so thought that may be the problem. The Plex app can see my video files but when I try to play them it says “Playback Error - An unexpected playback problem occurred”
Is anyone else getting this?

Here is the information that I have for you

Windows 10.0 (Build 19043)
I use the app on the TV not through the web browser (though the problem is the same there)
I have been using Plex now for at least 3 years on my old Samsung TV. On the weekend we got a new Samsung TV model HW-Q600A/XY, I was able to download the Plex app and it is reading my files on the computer. When I go to play the files they won’t play it comes up with the error message
“Playback Error
An unexpected playback problem occurred”
I can play the files on my computer through Plex.
I hope this information helps you out for me to get sorted as I LOVE using Plex.

Are you running Plex Media Server on the Windows PC?
If so, download and install the current version, 1.23.5.4841, from Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More.
If not on Windows, what platform? Can you update to the current version?
