When will there be official support for the battlemage GPUs? Unraid 7.1.0 beta1 supports battlemage and Plex detects it in the transcoder menu. It just can’t/won’t use it.

Time to stick a fork in this one as it’s now in GR.

I will likely be posting a test build sometime in october (tentative timeframe) which includes updated drivers for you guys to start hammering on.

Might even get Arc B50 Pro that just released, I presume that would be no issue since it’d the same architecture/same drivers or am I jumping the gun with that? Also if I’m running my plex using the official plex docker image on unraid, how do I get the test…

That is the best news! I bought a b450 for transcoding without knowing it wouldn’t work and it sits around since january. Really hyped to test this out!

Same :face_with_peeking_eye: I’m really looking forward to testing transcoding with the B580. I currently only have it running in Jellyfin, but due to the lack of apps, I need it in Plex.

I will be posting a forum preview with it probobly later this month once ive addressed some regressions in ffmpeg 6 that were discobered when it hit beta last week.
