My isp have me behind a cgnat and they don’t support IPv6
My plex server is run locally using an OMV OS and running on the local Ip 10.10.10.6
I’ve enabled the LAN address on the server settings for 10.10.10.0/24
Since the dhcp will give IP range between 10.10.10.100-200 to my devices
The Apple TV and phone got something like 10.10.10.135 and 120
Still both are considered remote devices and the appletv can’t directplay the media from my local omv plex server and my connection isn’t fast enough to stream Hd media
can anyone help me on do I get around this problem? If I disable remote access from the plex server, the applications won’t recognize the local plex server as online
I need to use the appletv when watching with family thus this is very important
