Best Plex Client and Device

Hello All,

There is way too much chatter about what device is the best to use for Plex and the best client for Plex.

What is the best device for using Plex
If you want to play Blu-ray rips with lossless audio (Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, DTS-HD MA, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital), play a lot of video content such as Dolby Vision, HDR 10, what’s the best?

Which is the best client for Plex to play all this content?
Some say NVIDIA SHIELD and AppleTV, it’s too confusing.

Can a Plex Team Member or Moderator make a great recommendation? I know you’d probably don’t wanna give preferential treatment to a certain device or client but users should know what’s among the best.

If lossless audio is a primary criteria, that’s your only answer.

I was guessing you had already read this. Have you read this?

I don’t have a Shield, but it’s my understanding that: Yes. And it’s basically the only device that does.

I was just curious if there was any other devices that could do it.

I guess I know what I’m picking up this holiday season.
