Best practices to save SSD drive

Hi there, just installed plex server on a Proxmox LXC, the point is that the server is installed on a SSD drive which I intend to have for long time, so avoiding recurrent writings to it will help.

The data for my library is located on a external drive which I connect to via smb-cifs.

Which folders do you recommend to move, if there is any chance to, in order to achieve my goal?
I thought that tmp and transcode folders, dont know if theres more to move, and by the way, can I use the RAM for the cache?

thanks in advance

If you map hdd-based directories into the container,
you can then tell PMS to use those directories by creating a systemctl override file.

( You are using a systemctl-based distro in the continer ?)
