- When truncating titles, please go from the middle out, ensuring that more common elements like “…S03E15” continue to appear on screen, no matter how long the title is. Currently, PMP tends to just show the prefix shared by innumerable entries followed by an ellipsis (a less than optimal abbreviation for distinguishing TV episodes, video elements in a collection, etc.)
- Go ahead and implicitly drop the collection name / series name / playlist name from member titles in grids and lists. Currently, PMP displays a lot of redundant information that hides member numbers.
- Union search terms together, so that collections with members titles like “S02E19” can be searched for like “Gumball S02E19”. Currently, PMP returns no results
Where do you get a view like this? Is this about a particular app, using Plex via DLNA or in a special mode (e.g. displaying the content by folders)?
