Can you guys please add the ability to save Album Mixes, Sonic Adventure, and so forth for listening (and editing) again later? It’s super frustrating that I can create these custom mixes, but then they disappear.
And no, selecting to download them is not the same because the downloaded playlist doesn’t work with Guest DJ.
At the bare minimum, just show “Previous Sonic Adventures” on the Sonic Adventure page (where it currently says “Add at least two tracks… etc”). Let us select from that history, edit if needed, and start the adventure again.
Please? I find myself wasting so much time creating similar sonic adventures and album mixes etc over and over again.
I guess I’m glad this is your biggest frustration and not some terrible bug.
The biggest challenge here is where to save them to. Plexamp is a client/server app, and the server doesn’t have a concept of those Plexamp things, nor a place to store them.
IIRC you can edit artist/album mixes out of Recent Plays (which is a Plexamp-unique thing). In theory we could probably do the same with sonic adventure.

I’ve been using streaming services for over a decade, and I’m not kidding when I say Plexamp is the absolute best music service/player I have ever used. Sonic Adventure, Artist Mix, and Album Mixes are incredible ways to listen to my collection and pull in new music from Tidal. I hope you guys are seriously proud of that accomplishment. Nothing has ever come this close to my ideal of a perfect music player.
So that said, yes the inability to save and edit my mixes might seem a bit nitpicky, but it’s literally my sole source of frustration when using Plexamp. You guys got everything else nearly perfect. Thank you for that!
That’s a great suggestion. I didn’t realize that the Album and Artist mixes were editable after the fact – probably because I tend to use Sonic Adventure most of the time, which is not re-editable.
I think there may be an “easy” way to get me most of what I want without having to do any totally new UI:
Make the Recent Plays page contain the last 100 plays, and make it searchable.
Add the same re-editing functionality to Sonic Adventures.
I often make use of the “Save PQ to Playlist” feature for this if there is a radio I am interested in but not right now so I’ll have to opportunity to revisit it later. Might be helpful in a few of these instances
