I am trying to switch over to using Plex as my main Music player in my car (via bluetooth), but I’m having a problem. Everything plays back just fine, however, I cannot use my car’s controls to skip songs or start the song over again/go back.
Has anyone run into this? is there a solution?
Ok, it seems to have something to do with my car’s Bluetooth, as I was able to change track using the Bluetooth connection on my Pebble watch.
my car is a Dodge Challenger running UConnect for the software, I am having it updated to the latest version tomorrow, hoping that will fix it, but at least I narrowed down the issue a bit.
EDIT: Turns out my Pebble was controlling Google Play music and NOT Plex.
I know other people have had this problem, is there any work around/solution for it? I’ve tried everything that I’ve seen in other bluetooth issues (rebooting phone/restarting car, using plexamp instead of just plex, etc.)
