+1 just a simple menu with where i can ad my link for my favorite radio. in my car i use android auto and plex and with this i can listen my favorite radio in the usa…

Definitely, Radio is missing from Plex. Having Video, Pictures, Home Movies and TV (sort of) is great. But, if Plex decided to include life TV channels it only ask is why not internet Radio.
I frequently listen to Radio Paradise and yes, its a great station. But many others to choose from depending on your preference - jazz, pop etc. It would be great to add Radio to Plex.

++1 for adding your own URLs for radio stream as I doubt Plex will be able to add radio stations for the entire world. Also then they don’t have to deal with any content rights and all that BS.
When I voted, we were at 90votes, now we are at 220votes. I think its a well wanted feature. @Plex @BigWheel
Why not allow users to add m3u playlists then minimal resource are wasted on setting this up for each City / State / Country around the world. IPTV not just Radio could be added this way - less work for Plex and very happy end users.

+1 would love this. We’ve got one classical station that comes in staticky over the air. I can use a separate app but I like Plex to be my one stop shop.

Internet radio in Plex would be very welcome, and make more sense than, say, video games in Plex.
I started a new thread under Internet radio for PlexPlayer but have not had any response so thought I would try here.
I recently installed Plex Server on Windows and PlexPlayer on an RPi to replace my SqueezeBox system that gave up the ghost.
I mostly listen to music and Plex Server does a nice job with my music library but I cannot figure out how to listen to Internet Radio through PlexPlayer. The ideal way would be via Plex Server but based on the above that does not appear to be an option. How can I listen to Internet Radio through PlexPlayer? I am not looking for anything fancy, I just want to be able to listen to music stations from around the world like I used to.
Other than this, Plex is very nice and once I can get Internet Radio working I will be subscribing!
There is no option at the moment to add custom URLs for internet radio or IPTV to Plex.
xTeVe IPTV (m3u) Proxy for Plex DVR is a 3rd party hack to add your own IPTV to Plex but I am not willing to use that as Plex updates can break it and I don’t want to risk my entire Plex setup for that.
From the lack of response and the implementation of Live TV by Plex them selves, I suspect they want to be in control of what external content is available through their platform. For this reason I also don’t think it will happen but thats my personal opinion.
There are many very capable apps for IPTV and Internet Radio with predefined sources and BYO sources so I just used them (Android TV) and as much as I would love to see such feature implemented in PMS I am not holding my breath.

Do you know of any apps which will allow me to play internet radio on my Plex Player (running on Raspberry Pi with a HiFi Berry DAC) connected to my stereo?

Can’t commend too much as I only run iOS and Android TV but TuneIn Radio and iHeart Radio are very popular in Australia for radio streams.

Thanks but I have not been able to get either to recognize and stream music to Plex Player. I haven’t given up yet but it is starting to look like only Plex Server can stream to Plex Player. I hope there is a way of making this work as Plex seems very nice otherwise but I really miss listening to radio stations from around the world.
