BUG - 4K unsupported on Sony 50X75K (4k TV)

This issue has previously been reported in the forums last year with no real resolution: But will there be any fix in being able to view 4K content without transcoding for the Sony series X75?

Sony X75 tv transcoding due to “4K unsupported”. TV will play same files direct from USB with nil issues.

I also have improved wired connection using 1Gbps usb dongle (real world performance of ~250Mbps) so bandwidth should not be an issue at all. Nil issues directing playing same file from USB, so not a codec issue.

Forget it… the developers are not interested to fix this.

I have switchedto Jellyfin. Everything works greaton Jellyfin
