Recently replaced a TCL 4 series with a new 55" Sony X75K. Love the TV but the Plex app has issues. TV runs Android TV OS and has latest version of OS and app. When trying to play any 4K content Plex will transcode no matter what settings I have. Funny thing is I can go to the video settings while playing and switch it from original to automatic and then back and it will start direct playing. No issues with any other 4K content on TV and didn’t have any issues on the old TCL unit. Guessing this may just be becuase the TV is newer the app might need to be fleshed out still?
