I prepare a poster for one of my library items. Due to a typo, I set the filename to \.jpg – literal backslash dot jpg. This is a valid filename on MacOS. I upload the image. A lot of the parts of Plex contain code which is supposed to run on different operating systems. A file name which consists only of a file name extension but no file name is not valid on some platforms.
