I haven’t had this issue a few weeks ago, so it must’ve come with one of the the newer updates.
I have both a bunch of series as well as movies on my Plex server.
Lately they’ve randomly been set to “watched” or “partially watched” for no reason.
Movies, I have never even clicked on before.
I’ve haven’t watched the 300 movies in years and I’ve only just added the Persona movies a few weeks back. Yet here they are marked as “continue watching”
Another example. There’s this series I started watching a week ago.
After 2 days suddenly episode 6-24 are all marked as watched, even though I only just finished episode 5. I have proceeded to manually “unwatch” every single episode, so I know what episode I am on after work-week.
I watch 2/4 of my content on a Fire Stick, 1/4 directly on my Windows-PC and 1/4 on my Plex app directly on my Sony TV. (though I haven’t watched directly via TV in 2 months now).
I should add: They shows as watched on any client - Windows, Linux or Android phone.
