Bug Fix: Resume movie from playlists

Hi all.

I’ve noticed a bug/irritation that could be addressed.

Upon playing a movie on my shield from a playlist and pausing it, then further going away or whatnot, the system times out and breaks to screensaver. Wait even longer and it turns off as per settings.

Going back to the playlist and resuming the movie in question restarts from the beginning when one would expect a resume from where you left off as per normal.

This appears to be by design for playlists? Perhaps so, but it seems counter intuitive.

Thoughts…fix?

It is a current limitations of playlists. They don’t use the resume point. I don’t have any information if/when this will be implemented.
