[Bug] Headless on Pi3 can't see its own player

Server Version#: 1.42.2.10156-f737b826c
Player Version#: Plexamp 4.12.4 - linux 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-v8

After a clean install of a headless plexamp on a Raspi3+, the webGUI is not showing the headless player. I can’t access it from the android app (not listed), though it shows in the server web-GUI but won’t play anything.

Also when trying to stop the user service and manually start plexamp, I get an error 402?

Plexamp is now signed in and ready!

Here’s the plexamp log: (server is .7, headless is .30 )

Plexamp.log (30.2 KB)

I’d welcome any help.

Thank you.

There’s something weird going on:

Dec 26, 2025 01:06:23.835 [Javascript] INFO - HttpServer: [192.168.1.89] GET /resourcesDec 26, 2025 01:06:23.836 [Javascript] ERROR - HttpServer: 500 Internal Server Error (/resources): Missing attribute value for attribute machineIdentifier of element Player

Not exactly sure what.

Is there any other log I can provide that would help ?

Hmm, the “HTTP status 402” might be an indication that you don’t have a Plex Pass, iirc headless Plexamp was a premium feature?

Indeed, it is:

Ah! Solved. I should have checked that beforehand.

Thank you.
