I’ve just setup my first headless Plexamp setup. I’ve got it working pretty well, but I have one small issue.
I use Home Assistant to automate powering my AVR on when the headless Plexamp starts playback. Then on a prolonged pause or stop it shuts off the AVR after a few minutes. From the Plexamp clients (iOS, MacOS, iPad, etc) a click and hold on play/pause stops playback and makes the device report a change to Idle status in Home Assistant, which triggers my automation.
When using the web client a click and hold on the play/pause stops playback but doesn’t report the change in status to idle in Home Assistant, which then fails to trigger my automation. Would it be possible to get the web view to be consistent with the other clients and send this idle status?
