Bug in Roku app update

Whenever you go into a season of a TV show, you have that bizarre “season 1” listing in the season (or whatever season you’re in at the time) as tho its an episode. if you click on that, the arrow keys stop responding in that show from then on. you have to use the back button to get out of it and the arrow keys on the remote start responding again. First, why is there even a listing in each season for the season itself? That’s clunky and confusing. Please either remove that or let us chose not to have that there. Second, it’s an obvious bug I’ve seen others mention that needs to be fixed.

It seems actually that if you simply highlight the bizarre “Season #” thumbnail within any season and then move off it, it makes the arrow button stop responding within the UI.

I ran into that last evening where I thought was the next episode to watch. I clicked on it 2-3 times and I could not move anywhere. I backed out of it somehow but it went right back there again. I eventually found some way to navigate to the next episode which is really the “True” episode as the first was just a placeholder for the Season. This is EXTREMELY confusing and unnecessary where the previous version logically showed all seasons and you could click on the season to drill down and navigate across all the episodes.

I truly hope they reconfigure this as it worked previously. If not, there will a horizontal stream of seasons and episodes which makes no sense.

its resolved in 8.6.5 update that just came out today. confirmed it myself just now.

I tested it a few minutes ago as well. It will take some time getting use to the list of Seasons is at the top. However, I would still like to see the first box which is the season number in the horizontal list of episodes as an option to show or not show. I prefer it not be and just show the true episodes.

Adding that season tile is completely useless.
