[Bug] New Plex for android app freezes on the new "plex" logo & won't open

Plex just updated in my Android Head Unit & it freezes on the new lowercase “plex” splash screen & won’t show the login for like 10 minutes.

After login it’s been sitting on the home screen spinning for a few minutes.

I noticed it took a little longer to load on my Chromecast with Google TV, but this is ridiculous, it makes it unusable.

It was working no problem, I installed the app update, now it’s can’t be used. It said my server was “offline” while I’m connected to my home Wifi, my phone & other devices see it fine, restart plex & it freezes on the Plex logo after the splash again for so long I just had to give up.

This is not okay

I’ve noticed a few other bugs too. After you finally get logged in I switch users, & after a wait that is longer than it was but not as long as the initial login when plex is started each time, going to Playlists shows Playlists from the previous user until you refresh. I’ve reproduced this problem multiple times on an android head unit, android phone, 2nd, older Android phone, & android tablet.

It also seems to loose all things pinned to the side in the new way-bigger-than-is-useful sidebar
