I’ve found a bug with Plex Commercial Skipper.
I’d run into issues where PCS would never complete and needed to be killed to allow the post processing script to run.
After trying it on two different machines and invoking it from the command line, I’m consistently getting a “could not open video codec” error on the files directly from the .grab folder. When I run the same file from the donator version of comskip, it works fine and the files play correctly in VLC.
To double check. I chose the transcode option for my hd homerun prime - this will allow PCS to complete, but it’s extremely slow compared to donator comskip - it looks like it’s only using a single core vs multicore with donator comskip.
I’ve been able to work around this by renaming comskip to plex commercial skipper, copying comskip.dictionary and my comskip.ini file to the Plex Media Server directory.
