A sample file? This is Live TV… I just noticed this happening last night so I think it may be a problem with PMS itself and not the clients…
I could make a 2-3 min recording of the channel if that’s what you want me to do…
Yes, it’s still possible to gather a raw sample from the tuner.
Getting samples for DVR issues
Steps:
1. Restart your server, and allow the EPG to load (if it's been ~18 hours since a server restart)
2. If you had the EPG reload, then restart your server again (this keeps the logs clean, as there won't be the EPG refresh this time) - otherwise you can skip this step
3. Start a direct .ts sample from the tuner (HD HomeRun used here as an example). You can do this by using a command such as:
curl http://tunerip:port/auto/channel > /users/outputpath/plexSamples/samplefile.ts
(You can copy the tuner URL bit from your logs, if it helps)
4. Start a recording in PMS of a problematic channel
5. Cancel the recording after a minute or so
6. Stop the direct capture from the tuner
7. Download the complete logs from the server
8. Zip up the logs, the direct sample from the tuner, and the recording from PMS, and post them here (tag me to make sure I see them)

@DaveBinM I couldn’t upload to the forums because the file size is too big but I am able to host it on my dedi. The raw capture plays fine in VLC but the Plex recorded one doesn’t. It’s very apparent while watching the playback.

@DaveBinM I temporarily downgraded the server to 1.22.3.4392 and the bug went away…
Hmmm, if you manually analyse the files with 1.23.0, does that help?
@DaveBinM Version 1.23.0.4482 is the version causing the issue… I manually analysed both the files with VLC and the raw capture plays fine but the Plex recorded one has the glitches…
I meant manually analyse with PMS 1.23.0
@DaveBinM I just selected Analyze on the Plex recorded file using the latest server and then tried to play it and it is still glitchy…
It was a long shot, but good to know it’s something to do with PMS 1.23.0

@DaveBinM @anon18523487 Yep, it’s something to do with just that version. I will leave the capture archive on my dedi for now incase anyone else needs to grab it.

You don’t have debugging enabled in your log so I can’t see what’s going on.
Edit - I’ll also need to see the log from the client.
