I’m reporting this as a bug rather than a feature request because it regards functionality what previously worked.
By the number of forum topics related to album record labels and file metadata tags, I assume a lot of music collectors besides myself like to tag albums with a record label, in addition to genre, etc. At one time, when viewing an album with Plex Web, the displayed record label (“Warner Bros.”, for example) functioned as a link that, when clicked on, would display other albums with the same record label. At some point I upgraded my Plex Server and Web app and discovered that the record label no longer worked as a link, although the genre and style links still work. Was this feature intentionally deprecated? If so, why? If not, it should be reinstated for the benefit of those of us to whom the record label tag is an important way of navigating their music library.
I’m not suggesting this is a fix for your issue, but if you’d like a way to browse your library by record label for the time being you can use advanced filters:
You can combine this with other filters to create smart collections or playlists, or just browse by record label.
