[Bug] Plexamp remote playing as Managed User always shows admin

When remote controlling a Headless Pi as a managed user, it always shows as the admin user in the Plex Dashboard (and worse, in the Plexamp history).

How to replicate:

  • Switch to Manged User
  • Play music and confirm it’s as the Manged User in the Plex Dashboard
  • Remote / Cast to Headless Pi
  • Check Plex Dashboard again, now the stream continues as the admin.

I’ve logged into the Headless Pi (ip:32500) and changed the user to the Managed User before testing this, and doesn’t make a difference.

Use case: I have a large playlist on repeat/shuffle as background music, and I noticed it was really ruining my play history on my own (admin) user.

Correct, sorry, headless doesn’t support full multiuser, at least not yet.
