I have a Library named ‘Slideshows,’ in which I keep albums of selected photos from various events (trips, locations, etc.). I have an Album for my visit to Iceland in 2014 (192 images).
In Plex Web (3.5.0), I opened the Iceland album and clicked on an image. I noticed at the bottom left it said this was image 5 of 192, which is correct.
I closed the image (clicked the ‘X’ at upper right).
I clicked on a different image. This time, it said it was image 7 of 14, rather than 192.
I clicked on the icon to display the photo strip. The photo strip only showed 14 of the 192 images in the album.
I tried several times to repeat this, so I could nail down specific steps that led to it. But the steps were slightly different each time. Each time, I stopped/restarted the PMS server, reloaded the Plex Web page from the server, then followed the steps above, looking at photos. Sometimes I had to perform the steps 2 or 3 times before the wrong counts started showing up. In one iteration, it happened the first time I opened an image.
This seems to only happen with albums with a large number of images. I don’t know where the tipping point is, but I can’t make this happen in albums with 15 or 20 images. EDIT: Aaand, immediately after I wrote that, it happened in a gallery with 18 images.
I don’t know if this is related, or a separate bug, but in some instances, the photostrip began showing images from other albums in the Slideshows library.
