Bug? Samsung Android (Phone) App broken again after going strong for couple of months

@ChuckPa Hi again Chuck, I know for a fact you’re a great person and have all the knowledge we need :). Could you help me out one more time?

Server Version#:
Synology DS918+
Plex Version 1.25.9.5721 (Latest as of 11-4-2022)
Not in Docker but via Synology Packages on the website

Player Version#: (Samsung S21)
9.0.5.31871 (b0e00ed7) (Latest as of 11-4-2022)

Explanation:
Follow up of – BUG? Samsung Android (Phone) App RARELY works for years on end! - Plex Players / Mobile Devices - Plex Forum

All other apps: iPhone / Apple TV / Chromecast / Web / even 7 year old tv plex apps run fine! Except for her Android phone.

Since our last fix the android app was working perfectly fine untill 3rd of april. She is getting an error again as shown below:

Issue process:
She starts a serie/movie and after a second of loading gets the error, which rougly translates to: Something went wrong playing this video. Check your connection and try again.

*Same error as before but quality settings are unchanged and set to max.

This issue happens wether we’re in the same house and on the same network (same ip range as server) or outside on 4G, 5G or a different wifi network. I am not getting any warnings or errors shown in the log console

Easy to investigate:
I wanted to share some details as well, so below are the log data from the server as well as client. asked her if she could run the app and play something to get a timestamp for investigation:

11-04-2022 21:13:51.948 - Around this time she started to play something and got the error.

Server Logs (will be removed after issue solved)

@ChuckPa I hope you or a colleague has some spare time

Could anyone help us out?

Dont hold your breath. It seems they have this one poor chuck guy running around collecting all these issues, giving them to the dev team and then someone else makes the decisions to work on crap no one has ever asked for instead. Who ever is steering the ship at Plex is running this thing into the groubd. If ever a company with some financial backing decided to make a similar product and had the vision to realize what their product was, they woukd piledrive Plex.

@ChuckPa Do you have any clue? <3

Can you give more details about the media file that is trying to be played? I dont care about the name of it just if its a mkv mp4 avi etc and what video codec it is using ie hevc mpeg4 mpeg2 xvid divx and what audio codec and format it is aac mp3 ac3 and if its 2.0 5.1 etc. Because i have issues with particular formats, mainly anything that isnt 2.0 aac
