I’m pretty sure this would be considered a bug since it is consistently crashing the app every time, but I shouldn’t have so many duplicates perhaps either. At any rate…
When I search for Riders On the Storm I get two results from two copies of the same album. The tracks and the albums are named identically and it stacks them in the search results with an orange box on the right and a number 2 in it. However when I choose it I am then presented with a popup from the bottom presumably giving me a choice to pick between the two. Both options show the name of my server with no other differentiation to tell which is which and I don’t know how it could since I foolishly have them labeled identically. Regardless of which choice I pick from the popup the app immediately crashes. I did send the report each time it happened.
Additionally if I search for the album L.A. Woman which is the duplicate album in this scenario the query results similarly show 2 stacked choices, followed by a popup both showing my server name, but if I pick either one it does successfully go to an album. I can’t honestly tell which one is opening or if it’s opening the same one regardless of choice since I don’t have an option to see file info to see the file path of the tracks, but it is at least not crashing the app.
It does however show me an area where I still need to do some cleanup in my library because that is confusing even to a human let alone an app trying to do what I ask of it.
