I found out that Spanish from latin america is missing when setting up the Audio & Subtitles settings from ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > AUDIO AND SUBTITLES SETTINGS. You can find there English US, English UK, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil) … BUT only one ESPANOL. That means that Plex will take the first spanish track available on file when playing, which is disgusting when playing a file with both spanish variations .
Sure, SPANISH from Spain code usually is es-ES , and spanish from latin america is es-419 . I think is the same format that you guys are using for example on portuguese from Portugal and portuguese from brazil (pt-PT & pt-BR) or english (en-US & en-GB). You’ll need to specify es-ES as spanish from Spain and es-419, for Spanish Latin American region, otherwise, with only “es” it would take the first spanish track on file.
In fact, both spanish versions can be found in plex to configure the language of the app but only ONE to configure the default audio settings in ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > AUDIO AND SUBTITLES SETTINGS
Hi!! Is there any update or workaround about this issue? It’s annoying having to change manually the audio track after every chapter while watching any tv show because it selects the wrong spanish track by default
